On 27th June 2023, ACCU ACCU Group attended the 2nd Supplier Conference held by Beam Auto in Zhangjiagang as a strategic partner. More than 400 representatives from Beam Auto and more than 100 suppliers attended the meeting. Dr Chen Yuxiao, Chairman of ACCU Group, was invited to give a speech entitled "Enhancement of Capability, Leap to Internationalisation". Beam Motors is a pure electric vehicle manufacturer, a joint venture between MINI Motors, a subsidiary of the German BMW Group, and China's Great Wall Motors. The theme of the conference was to encourage the supply chain system of Beam to go international, and to help Beam and its major shareholder, BMW MINI, to obtain reliable international supply resources.

 

 

In his speech, Dr Chen elaborated on the importance and strategic considerations for Chinese companies to go overseas, and furthermore gave a competence growth programme, Fit-for-Germany, to help Chinese companies to fully enhance their competence and meet the qualifications of the German automotive supply chain.

 

 

Dr Chen Yuxiao's speech was positively received by Beam Auto and suppliers. The suppliers appreciated ACCU's strategic resources, market expansion, and landable capabilities and experience in helping companies internationalise, and were looking forward to future cooperation.
